The Jersey town of New
Brunswick, collegetown,
much like the region of Taco-
ma where I spent some months,
great place for rain and fire,
not for friends spread out along
the country like not
enough butter spread over
too much bread, and I realize
there that I have no idea
what
I'm doing on this planet, here,
alone, no mamacita no girl
no paper no pen, traveling
on a free ride.
